Holocaust on this day:

October 21-23 – Thousands of Jews are murdered at Kraljevo, Yugoslavia.

October 22-23– Sixty-six German enlisted men and officers, and 17 Romanian officers, are killed when the Romanian headquarters in Odessa, Ukraine, explodes. Three hours later, Jews and Communists are hanged in the central square. The next day, 5000 Jews and other civilians are seized and shot.

October 23– Prohibition against the emigration of Jews. Thousands of Jews are murdered at Kragujevac, Yugoslavia.
